The Ultimate Foundation for Extreme Power

When you're pushing the limits of the Barra platform—chasing 2000hp, massive boost, and stratospheric RPM—the factory crank becomes the fuse. The Atomic 4340 Billet Steel Crankshaft is engineered to eliminate that weakness, providing a bulletproof rotating assembly foundation that handles extreme torsional loads with minimal flex.

💡 DID YOU KNOW?

Aerodynamics matter inside your engine. At 8000+ RPM, the crankshaft is spinning in a hurricane of oil mist and windage. Standard counterweights act like paddles, whipping the oil and robbing horsepower. Our Full Aero Counterweights are profiled to slice through this windage, reducing parasitic drag and stabilizing the rotating assembly at high RPM.

The Atomic Solution

Crafted from premium 4340 Billet Steel, this crankshaft offers uncompromising tensile strength and fatigue resistance. It features straight-shot oiling for direct bearing lubrication, nitrided journals for exceptional wear resistance, and is precision machined to exacting tolerances. It is fully compatible with OEM blocks, the new Atomic Cast Iron block, and aftermarket billet blocks.

Engineered for Reliability

We designed this crank to reduce strain on every other component in your engine.

  • Reduced Flex: The rigidity of 4340 billet steel reduces torsional movement, saving your main bearings, main caps, and oil pump gears from harmonic destruction.
  • Straight Shot Oiling: Ensures direct, consistent oil flow to the conrod bearings, critical for survival at high RPM.
  • Nitrided Finish: A surface hardening process that provides exceptional wear resistance for long journal life.
