The Tough Dog leaf springs are a truly progressive-rate leaf spring. Contact is maintained along the complete length of the spring because each leaf is set slightly higher than the leaf above.
Depending on the application required, single stage and two stage springs are available. With primary and secondary stage leaves, the vehicle’s ride remains uncompromised.
Under load, the second stage leaves which are heavier, create the support needed to prevent excessive sagging & remove high stresses from the primary stage.
